Writers of this show hate women?

Look at how the principal women are portrayed:
Niamh is a selfish bitch;
Siobhan is arrogant and nasty to her man;
Orla is nasty and dismissive to a very kind and patient suitor.

On the other side, I suppose, Emma seems nice, as does Oonagh (if not a little deceitful).
