Buzz obeying the 'toy rule' makes no sense

I am sure a billion people have mentioned it already, but if Buzz thinks he's a real space ranger, why would he 'freeze' when humans are around?

Furthermore, why doesn't he treat Andy the way he treats Woody? Some giant comes into the area, starts groping and toying and pressing your buttons, wouldn't you at least say 'HEY?!', if you are a real space ranger?

If someone starts treating you like a toy, pretending to 'shoot' things with your hand gun buzzer thing, wouldn't you tell them to stop it and ask about the meaning of this?

Why would Buzz LET Andy play with him, and then tell Woody he's a sad little man, when Woody tells he's a child's 'plaything'?

Doesn't his recent experience with said child CONFIRM this to be true? Why can't he either remember or understand the meaning of that experience with the giant child?

Can't he look at scale of things like the 'giant people', the house, rooms, vehicles, etc..not to mention how the other toys look like toys and not people, and put two and two together?

None of Buzz's behaviour or attitudes make any sense. Are all Buzz's like that? What dictates whether a toy knows they are a toy? When and how do they gain sentience? Are there no 'rebel toys', do they not have personalities that refuse to participate in the charade? Where do they get the rules, how can they know them, and if there are other oblivious toys, wouldn't the whole 'worldwide toy sentience ruse' be destroyed pretty quickly?

Do beach balls and such also have sentience? What about board games? What dictates this, how, who, what... none of it makes any sense whatsoever!

Human beings and animals can move around, because they have muscles that react to electricity-like energy that the body generates from nourishment and oxygen taken in. These toys do not have muscles or seem to need nourishment, so how can they move, and where does their energy come from?

There's more, but this is enough for one post.. I wish movies could make sense some day.

His toy instincts overruled his delusion and denial.
