Wesley + Woody!!!

To pick up on this post...http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113845/board/thread/68699765...Wesley & Woody were a great comedy team in the 90's. I'm not sure when they fizzled out, bit it is long overdue for them to reunite. I think they could be somewhat big again, as long as they pick the right movie.

Anyone?

Why yes, I am watching Money Train right now.

Para tiempo means nada nunca.

youre right about that, i loved white men cant jump ( my fave bit in the movie is when rosie perez's character goes on jeopardy and wins the whole lot, :)
they made a pretty good duo then. i bet that with the right script and director they can make another great movie again.

considering that wesley has been having tax problems with the irs and woody just not getting much high profile movies now and again, it should be a good time to reunite again and show everyone that theyre still as good as they are then and now.

altho i doubt white men cant jump 2 would be a good idea lol.

heres a fact: if you look closer at jennifer lopez in the movie and compare her to some recent pics, you can tell for sure she had some work done on her nose, not that she needed any work as she looked really gorguess then anyway.

Yeah they're a great comedy team, I just watched Money Train on TV last night and then remembered I had an old copy on video of White Men Can't Jump and chucked it on straight after.

I love it in Money Train when Wesley and Woody are walking home and those gangbangers try to rob them and they end up arguing to the point where they forget what's going on around them and turn the guns on eachother and the gangbangers just take off, hilarious.

Best scene in White Men Can't Jump is the first meeting between Wesley and Woody on the courts, Wesley Snipes is so damned funny especially in the begining of the movie "you know I'm just that good" and when he shoots and leaves his hand in the air and he's like "I'm gonna just keep this up here" and runs around with his hand up letting everyone give him five.

I'd love to see them re-unite but with Woody in the better position this time if you get what I mean, in WMCJ he's the poor guy struggling and Wesley is well off and enjoying life under the rim and in Money Train Woody is the gamblin F up well Wesley is the sensible older brother.

If there was another film with them I'd like to Woody as a smart, funny street wise guy who helps Wesley out after Wesley is attacked outside a night club by a bunch of white folks, simple BS little character descriptions but something along those lines where Woody is the smarter one or more of a good guy.

I agree that they should make another film together. Wesley and Woody had great chemistry together on screen. Whether they were getting along or butting heads, they always provided the laughs for the audience. I'm sure the two of these guys are best friends in real life. Out of the three films they've done together, I would say White Men Can't Jump is my favorite, then Money Train and then Wildcats.

I agree also, they are good together. TO ME they are to the 9o's (movies) what Richard Pryor & Gene Wilder were to the 80's....those two were great together also.

"T.J." dont consider himself no pimp, more like a male madame....that wasnt too well throughtout"

This would be great news!! "White Men Can't Jump" is still one of my fav movies of all time. Then again, it also has a pretty damn good funny script and a great supporting cast. I've seen it so many times, I know all the dialog already. :)
