To me, it is. I really cried at the climax scene when she yelled at her husband at the mountain. It was a real tear-jerker. I've never cried in any romance movies before except Love Letter.

shareThis was one of the most touching and romantic movie I've ever seen; I watched it twice back-to-back and teared up both times from when Hiroko sent the packet of letters to Itsuki through to the end of the movie. This poignant movie is a "must see" and I'm fortunate to have a friend recommend it to me or I may have missed it. It's a keeper(and a weeper).
