There's dated CGI. It's good CGI for 1995. They were still working on realistic hair lighting. This movie did it with daylight scenes which is difficult. The practical effects, Costumes, and makeup are wonderful. Bonnie hunt was a great choice to balance out Robin Williams.

If you asked me, the new CGI looked more dated than the 1995 CGI.

CGI is overused nowadays. It's a great tool, but it's also a crutch used to avoid higher production costs.
