Probably Van Pelt (having such an outdated gun lol) and the monkeys who stole the police car.

Definitely Van Pelt. Because I like the actor and because he played a double role in that movie (and later 360 theater's Peter Pan play). :D

Vines! Vines! Vines! I would let them eat me just to know how they feel :)

Yeah, same here - the only Human (besides Alan) to come out of the game, and he was such a badarse (Changed it to a British word to avoid censorship), although he was a bad guy as well.

reply

Actually, “arse” means “human rump,” while “ass” means “a donkey,” so you inadvertently changed it in the service of actual literacy. But you did not know that.

I am not surprised.

reply

I say Van Pelt. I really like it after Alan escapes him the first time and he gets back to the house Sarah says, "You know you might have told us there was a man in there with a rifle that hunts people."

Van Pelt Van Pelt Van Pelt! The man who makes you feel just like a child.

The stampede. I always liked the animal that was several feet behind the others, never able to keep up with them.

reply

No love for the monsoon? I always thought that was the most magical, and one of the best sequences of the film.

Personally I loved the quicksand, just because it seems so unexpected.
We get all kinds of animals, bizarre plants and weather, and even a hunter, but this straight up defies the law of physics, completely and totally. It comes right out of left field, and worst of all happens in the attic, which they went to since the rest of the house wasn't safe. Lion in the bedroom, plants all over, water in the hallway, nowhere was safe but the attic. So they go in there and boom, not even that's safe because now the floor is melting.
