Film noir in 1995

Film noir is genre, and not just black-and-white visual style. Right now film noir has been called neo noir, modern noir. In recent years there has been a lot of film noir movies, like Nightcrawler, Gone Girl, Drive, all of Christopher Nolan movies (except Interstellar), Inherent Vice and others.

But La Haine definitely is not film noir
