In my opinion: The Voice of the DJ is Sooo Annoying.

Anybody else think so? I think he kinda ruined the movie for me.

Why would Candyman kill him? He only kills people who say his name five times in the mirror or people who mean something to the person they're tormenting, e.g. Annie's boyfriend and mom. He would have had no reason to kill the DJ. Bot to mention, the movie was set in New Orleans. It was too give a feel to the setting, so I saw no problem with his accent. I actually thought that was what made the film creepy.

You love me more than sunny summer days.

You hear that kind of Louisiana accent all over the place. Don't know why these posters found it so annoying.

THANK YOU! What the heck kind of New Orleans accent is that? Okay I get the kitchy Satchmo gravely voice but don't even know what the heck the accent is supposed to be. It ain't yat. It ain't Uptown. It's like some poor imitation of an Alabama accent done by as others have said, Wolfman Jack. Here is the real deal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpFDNTo4DNg

My favorite murdered NOLA accent on film? Dennis Quaid, in 'The Big Easy.' Although the funniest would be Luc Deveraux from 'Universal Soldier,' a "Cajun" from of all places, Meraux, LA. Meraux, land of the yat accent and Spanish speaking Islanos.

I used to not mind it, but now, everything they shown his fat ass I wanna puke. And I thought he was black until they showed him. The voice is like Seth McFarlanes. It just doesn't fit him and for some reason that annoys me.
