shareI agree. It gave it a bit too much of a comedic feel. Still a creepy movie though. The beginning to this film is my scariest moment I think. I saw it when I was a kid and it scared the hell out of me. I was terrified. Best opening scene to a horror movie though.

Just seen C2 on UK's Channel 4. That DJ has got to be THE most irritating, cheesy nonsense I've ever heard! I put him on mute each time. The DJ on 'The Warriors' was far better done and not as frequent but C2's was scarier than the actual film! I hoped Candyman was going to give DJ a 'hook' (boom boom!) he'll never forget ;op

Id watched candyman: the original when i was about 4 or 5 and it traumatised me for years lol. Im only 16 not btw. Then years later i got like the courage to watch it again and when I watched number two it freaked me out even more like when Annie walks into the attack with the candyman above al the skulls etc. Well anyways the Dj added like a comic effect and calming effect to me when watching it.
Yeah, it made it way too cheesey, especially since he was supposed to be like a narrator
