Braveheart Vs Last of Mohicans Vs Dances of the Wolves

I would like to get your'e opinion of which movie you favor more and why?

More or less these 3 movies have almost same feel to 'em. Loved the choreography, direction, slow but steady pacing, music, story line and acting of lead character.

I love Braveheart more than other two.

Pardon my english. It is the second language. - Me and Dr. Schultz

For me it's a tie between Braveheart and Last of the Mohicans. I also liked Dances With Wolves, but not as much as the other two. I've probably seen both Braveheart and LoM at least 20 times each, and they are movies I can still watch over and over (in fact I'm watching Braveheart on Netflix right now), even though both have their flaws. With respect to LoM, I think the cinematography and, for the most part, acting (DDL, Wes Studi, Jodhi May, Eric Schweig, etc.) is superb, and of course the directing by Michael Mann is top notch. For me it is also the best example of a movie where the soundtrack really works with and enhances the film (Braveheart is another good example of this, but I think the soundtrack to LoM is simply perfect for that movie). Finally, the last 10-15 minutes of LoM are among the best in cinema. Braveheart, imho, is the more epic and complex film, also with stunning cinematography, and with astonishing battle scenes (particularly for the time), but I enjoy both films equally.

The soundtrack esp the last 15 mins of the LOTM is phenomenal no doubt, perhaps the best in movies,. the music carries the entire climax of the movie, no dialogue at all. the only other movie that is close is the good the bad and the ugly. morricones the avarice of gold with tuco running around sad hill cemetery and the final shootout is pretty good too,. dances w wolves isn't even in the ballpark of either of those or braveheart. costnar is just a goober. good movie but just too silly aka jane fonda
