The sad thing is...

Given the public's inexplicable insatiable appetite for emasculate, wimpy rock performed by the likes John Mayer, James Blunt, Daniel Powter etc., in 2007, Greg just might have a multiplatinum single on his hands with that god awful song.

Would that be "Clowns Never Laughed Before" that you are referencing??? LOL!!

OMG - I saw it in the Brady movie first, and thought they just added it as a joke, but then a few months later - I see it on the actual Brady Bunch. The guy literally sang this song! LOL!! I was in hysterics and laughing so loud that I could barely hear the damned lyrics...All I had to hear was "Clowns never laughed before...and that was it for me!!! ROFL!

Fine work from "Johnny Bravo". LOL

The best thing about it is that Barry Williams, who played Greg in the TV series, actually wrote that song himself.

That's why it's so funny in the movie when Barry's character tells Greg how awful the song is.

That's what I call irony!

I had forgotten it was on the series (maybe it was cut out when I saw it as repeats, which was really when I first saw the show). I thought the song was another joke for the movie, not an actual song!

Are those guys still popular? I don't really follow popular music.

When I saw The Monkees a few years ago, (back when Davy Jones was still alive)
Barry Williams was opening for them and he actually sang that song. I was like oh dear GOD! He is bringing out Johnny Bravo.
