Did anybody actually see this in a theater?

If so what did you think when you walked out? How many people were in the theater?

I thought it was very good, and there were a lot of people there. And I saw it coming home from France in a cinema (theater) on a ferry

I also saw it in the theater. I was around 13 and I loved it. I was a big Batman fan as I liked the animated series and the 1966 Batman. I was too young to appreciate the first 2 movies as they were a little too dark for me and they didn't have Robin (who I really had a crush on). So this movie was great because not only was Jim Carrey in it but they were adding Robin.

I remember it being very well liked at the time. Crowded theater. Jim Carey was at the top of his game, Seal had a #1 hit with Kiss from a Rose.

From my understanding, no one hated this movie until it was paired with the sequel, Batman and Robin. I also enjoyed that movie so never fell in line with the hate. But now both get tied together. But at the time of Forever's release it was well received.

No, no one did. That's why there have been no Batman movies since.

Just joshin' ya. I saw it at the ABC in Norwich (UK) when I was 8 years old. I don't know how far along it was in its release, but I recall it was a Saturday and it was pretty packed. I remember the "Holy Rusted Metal!" gag getting a big laugh. What did I think? Well, as I said, I was 8; I loved it. I don't think I bought much merch though; pretty sure the only thing I bought was the Two-Face figure (which came with a fake scratched-up coin). I guess my B:TAS toys were enough for me then.
