terrible basketball players

lol the way they were dribbling the ball seemed like they haven't played a day in their life. anybody agree.

Yep. That is the weakness of the movie. They really didn't train the actors to even look like the could play at a high level. There is a scene in the bar, where they are drinking and watching a teammate play on the All-Amercian high school team. They are saying that they could of played in that game, but really on the court they look like a couple of amateurs who have never played before.

Problem is because it's an low budget flick, they wouldn't had the time and the budget to train the actors to play like they did in White Men Can't Jump. Boxing and baseball you can more easily disguise the actors that they can play, but Basketball is such a skillful game that to show them dribbling and shooting like pro's was always going to be too hard to pull off.

They didn't train Snipes and Harrelson how to play basketball for WMCJ, the were already players. Your never going to teach someone to play basketball in a couple of months.

Someone is incapable of reading.........

When Woody Harrelson was making this movie, the producers hired Bob Lanier, the retired Detroit Pistons' center, as a basketball coach.

According to their basketball instructors, Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson reached the skill level to be able to start for an NCAA Division III team.

^^Sounds like training to me

Their instructors may have made that comment, but no they were not at that level. Just No.

They were however night and day better than Leo and crew.

That's not the point. Jensen said they didn't have trainers. This quote I posted was to illustrate they did in fact have trainers. That was the point.

Anything else is off topic. But yes Leo and company were horrible
