weird relationship..

does anyone else find it odd that Stacey and Lucca were dating when she was 13 and he was 17? and then at the end of the movie he says hes coming back next summer and she says shell be 14, but he would be 18. i dont think thats a great message to be sending to young children. its still a fun movie, i just found that a little too much for a kids movie.
