One show that could actually benefit from a reboot

Very interesting concept, but the cheesy effects and the dopey TV science detracted from the original. It would be cool if they made it a little more realistic with split timelines. For example, say Germany had won WWII and invaded America at some point. There is zero probability that any of the main characters would have an alternate version of themselves because with major events unfolding so differently, there is just no way that their grandparents or parents would have been having sex at the exact same moment with the exact same sperm fertilizing the mom's egg from the prime timeline. So you would never have a version of Quinn and the professor leading some underground resistance against the Nazi's or anything like that. Only if a timeline diverged in the relatively recent past would there be alternate versions of the same person.
