YOUR FAVORITE EPISODE OF ALL TIMES??

I was about 12 in 1995, when the series sttared so I was pretty young when I began watching The Outer Limits. I didn't even know it was a Canadian series until a few years ago, but I remember alot of the old ones like Heist with a young pre-Saving Private Ryan Barry Pepper and that pretty freaky epsiode with Brent Spiner who played Data on Star Trek: The Next Generation. I also remember there was another epsiode where aliens had abducted a street block or something, can't remember precisly. But of all my absolulte favorite of all times is Abduction. Not only because I'm in love with Meghan Ory (SP) but because it is a very, very good lession about school shootings that I think all people adults and kids alike should watch. Heck why not even show it to a high school class and get then to discuss the topics that the epsiode presents. Anyways, I like sharing, so what's yours? Another one I also liked stared John Spencer from the West Wing and Micheal Ironside it was called "Summit".

Season 2, episode 11: The Refuge.
I just love the ending, almost brings tears to my eyes. Also the storyline and good beating evil (which doesn't happen so often so clearly in outerlimits) was outstanding.

That episode with the weird alien gun that connects to a mans arm as he kills making him a almost invincible except this other guy is given the gun to protect his daughter and grandson and kills the First man then the alien at the end to check out the mayhem he caused. Then he disappears and you see him at another gun sale selling the weapon again. Or the the one with the immortal girlfriend of the son of the guy who saved her and that crazy old dude injects himself with her blood and reverting back to goo after getting younger and younger. Finally the final episode with the trial 20 years after a nuclear war of the time traveller for using technology (the woman who kills the murderers before they murder normal self) and another time traveller comes and holds them hostage with a cold fusion bomb find out the ending for yourself.
Most episodes are great but a toss up between these as my favourate.

Or for that matter, what was the name of the episode where the people were building the transportation device in a warehouse so they could get back to their own planet?

^The first episode was Feasability Study, but the didn't become aliens, they contracted an alien disease that killed them.

I think the second episode is "The Inheritors" a remake of a TOS OL episode.

SPOILER........yeah it is definately Trial by fire - It has the Americans spending the first 40 minutes or so trying to work out what the alien's intentions are and what the message means as the alien ship gets closer they decide to attack (along with 1 other country -probably Russia. Pretty much after that the missiles are released they work out the message is a friendly one and the Aliens come in peace. Then they see the missiles on the radar have their target destination changed to where the countries which released them and the missiles hit America and Russia. It was a great episode-hopefully Season 2 will be released by September. I think that is enough of a wait.

I remember watching an episode where a man has some form of Alien ant like creatures in a case in a barn. They start out quite unsophisticated but evovle very quickly, spliting into 2 distinct groups. I think they build a hive? that looks like the mans face.
This one always stuck in my mind but I have no idea what its called?

Without doubt "Quality Of Mercy" where the shock doesn't come until the word "back" at the very end. That episode really made an impression on me and disturbs and depresses me to this day.:(

There was an episode that i really liked and made me feel really strange. It's the one where a guy kills most of his associates in a firm then runs away and meets some beggar type guy in a bar and they talk for most of the time and right at the end he gave him the choise to start all over and trated their places... Aspecially the music in the end was really great.. Does someone know the name of that episode?

reply

^That episode is from season 2 and is called "The Conversion".

reply

And if I remember correctly, the name of the song at the end was Return to Innocence by Enigma.
