25 years old now. Needs reboot.

Time flies. I loved this show as a kid. Due a reboot. I think it would connect more with people in this post-9/11, high tech surveillance world. More you could probably do with the subject these days.

Plus living "off the grid" in the smart-phone age would be harder, and could create more storylines.

It also needs to be streaming somewhere other than grainy episodes on Youtube...

Absolutely. My brother has it on DVD and the clarity makes it much better. I just checked and it's out of print so the prices are very high. $250 for new, $125 second hand.

I think he got it for the RRP when it was released, about 13 years ago.

That's pretty cool. I remember this show vividly.

And it had the coolest opening ever:

An amateur but sorta well known photographer holds an exhibit at a small party. He celebrates but doesn't quite understand his own acclaim.

Later, he and his wife have a fancy dinner to celebrate...he excuses himself to use the restroom and returns with no one recognizing him at the restaurant..including his wife!

There were a few clunkers, (the UFO episode)...but this was during the whole X-Files craze and broadcast on a new startup network UPN...now CW.

But a solid show...

It's also almost completely impossible to find anything useful about the show because of it's shared title with the Beatles song.
