Watched 2 eps: what on earth is good about this show?

I'm sorry, but it's one of the worst animated series I've ever seen.

I'm not going to flame without giving reasons either:
1. The voice acting was terrible. It was flat, disjointed, and generally on par with low budget dub-overs. It's not the worst I've heard but it's pretty bad. The voice acting alone almost made me stop watching ep1 after 5min. People say things, but they don't actually seem to have any emotion behind what they say.

2. Plot is disjointed. In some series, this is a good thing, and it can be done well. Not in Aeon Flux. Here, it instead feels like the writers simply didn't know what they were doing. No, it's not a case of "I didn't get it." I could tell what they were trying to do. The problem is that they failed horribly, instead coming off as a chain of lame disconnected cliches (especially in the dialog. I was groaning with every cliche'd line)
Basically, yes, I see what people are trying to pass off as hidden meanings and what not. Again, the issue is that it failed. It reminds me of arrogant artists who make something and then tries to puff it up by making all kinds of psychobabble-like claims. I've seen shows that actually pull off the symbolism, and there are weird shows that I like (see: Kaiba), but this is just crap.

Animation was done well, but definitely not my tastes. However, that's a matter of opinion and the intended effect was actually achieved in the animation, so I won't hold that against it.

But people... please tell me what the heck you see in this show. All I see is someone shoving poop in my face and demanding that I call it gold. I could only stomach 2 eps before I had to shut it off in digust - and again, I'd like to stress I *did* understand what was going on, it really wasn't complicated like many here seem to claim. By the end of each ep it was pretty clear what had happened and why, and by thinking about it for a few more minutes you could see what they were trying to do. It wasn't really original either, unless you've only ever seen crappy hollywood flicks and don't read books.
