The people who put this movie on a pedestal have the same bitter contemptment for the Elm Street Franchise as Wes Craven himself

I dunno maybe because it takes a proverbial dump on the rest of the series, has almost no Freddy, Rehashes the original for the worst and Wes Craven wanted to do this in 1987 because he hates the producers and he hates the fans and wants to make us all pay for enjoying his movie and wanting more making him rich and successful but thank God Robert Shaye was there to save us from Wes Craven and gives us Dream Warriors, Dream Master, Dream Child, the awesome Freddy's Dead before Wes Craven could get his hands back on the franchise and ruin it

Im sorry but i cant take you serious if you think freddys dead is better then this your being silly this isnt a slasher film an funny freddy all though entertaining isnt the real freddy its cool with which ever you like but this is an obvious better film then 2456 an even bob shay himself would prolly mostly agree
shareThe opening scene in Part 2 alone is better and scarier than anything this movie has to offer. Remember it was Wes Craven who ruined Horror for two decades with Meta crap and it all started here. If i was only interested in which movie is the best actual film i wouldn't be watching any movie but the original Halloween and definitely nowhere near any Freddy or Jason.
The reality however is that the original Halloween is the best film out of the big horror franchises but but what did everybody want to see since the 1980's? Freddy vs Jason and they didn't want to see Meta Freddy in leather chap's because that shit is stupid
