What part did you laugh your a$$ off?

There were many parts in this movie my favorite parts are:

when Jon Lovitz tells the hostages to sing the song: "You can't get to Heaven, if you don't hold still. 'Cause if you move, you're going to get killed."

Dana Carvey: "Can we stop to get some Ring-Dings?"
Nicholas Cage: "Ring-Dings? Sure than we can get some ballons and go to the puppet show."

When they bring all the people from the diner over to the bank.

Forget yourself for a moment,
And you may lose yourself forever.

"OH MY GOD A GUUUUUNNNN!" - his expression alone had me in tears.

Also, the scene in the house where everyone is being held hostage, and it's a tense moment until it got broken by the organ when the deputy's assistant accidentally leans on it. The ominous sound killed me.

I agree with the gun line ! Lol. And jeez I forgot how *beep* hilarious Cage is! That man acting the hell out his role. He was funny but his character had depth as well. What about 'gibblets' lmao.

i hope you choke on your bacardi & coke!

"Liar liar pants on fire, nose is as long as a telphone wire" (says Nic as he prods Jon in the nose - brilliant!).

In the bank robbery - "you get shot and the person next to you gets shot, it's a 2 for 1 thing"

But I also think this movie has one of the most poignant lines in a film ever.
When they are in the churchyard and looking at the headstones and Nic says "your whole life is in that dash". I'd never thought of it that way before but it's so true, everything you ever do falls down to that little hyphen between your born date and date of death. So make sure you get the most out of that dash guys!

I and my family watch this movie every year as a tradition for christmas. I just never gets old. a few parts do stand out to be the best in my opinion:

+++++spoilers alert!+++++++
After Dave gets off the phone w/ their mother.
Bill: (to Dave) You set me up! this this one of your... elaborate schemes?? (his smile makes me laugh every time, it's so angry) Dave I know how your mind works, and the whole time you stand there with this who me, expression on your FACE!!! (and alvin who's behind him jumps in surprise and he looks at dave whos giving the face) you're doing it right now!

The part where Bill grabs Ed's gun and shoots it at the ground at the bus station and the look on his face when he shouts "OMG A GUUUUUN!!!"

the smile Dave gives to everyone when he's called out for have written that letter.

and who could forget Bill throwing Alvin into that metal door in the Bronx. PRICELESS makes me laugh every time.

Most of the parts with their mother made me laugh my a$$ off... "You call this being nice? Putting a gun to my head, and dragging me across three states on the night Christ was born?" "Anything's better than looking at you two gorillas and listening to your horses**t"... lol, priceless!

... the hardest thing in this world is to live in it...

Easily one of the funniest lines is "What.. What kind of lisence plate do you have?" all in car say in unison. "Duh."

At the end of the movie, they're in the bank returning the money, nic cage says to his brother something like - 'I've showed mom's picture to these guys and they started shooting at me. Do you have any idea why?', and brother replies - 'maybe it was a bad picture', and starts to laugh... hahahhah, funniest scene in the movie.

reply

"Oh, guns"
This movie was dumb, but I still liked it.

You know maybe if you eat more comfort food you wouldn't have to go around shooting people.
