What part did you laugh your a$$ off?

There were many parts in this movie my favorite parts are:

when Jon Lovitz tells the hostages to sing the song: "You can't get to Heaven, if you don't hold still. 'Cause if you move, you're going to get killed."

Dana Carvey: "Can we stop to get some Ring-Dings?"
Nicholas Cage: "Ring-Dings? Sure than we can get some ballons and go to the puppet show."

When they bring all the people from the diner over to the bank.

Forget yourself for a moment,
And you may lose yourself forever.

I hadn't seen this movie since about 97, but I love this movie, especially Carveys character.

SO many great quotes, ring-dings and milk wins forsure. Also scallions, I love scallions.

reply

I laughed the hardest at the last line...

***SPOILER ALERT***

...when their Mom asked "when are you two going to get hitched?" and Carvey's character said "we aren't even attracted to each other!"

reply

Ok - funniest part of any film in the history of film:
After the car crash, the Bank manager tells them that the bank has been robbed... Watch Cage's face. Gold.

(after opening the trunk:)
Alvin: OH MY GOD, GUNS!

Dave: Who wrote what to whom... it's a moot point!

The whole scene in the house when Dave starts singing to cover up the newscast about the guys that broke out. Look at Bill's face as he's angry, then laughing like nothing is wrong, then instantly angry again - classic and so funny!!

The part where Alvin speeds off as they are trying to get away. He was all worked up about something in his mind and then yells "KISS MY A$$" as he pulls off not realizing they are right there. Hilarious.

Hello Homer, I'm George Harrison.
Oh my God, oh my God....where did you get that brownie?!?!

reply

lol, yeah the OH MY GOD GUNS! part is my favorite, also when they are leaving the andersons and alvin says, thank you for my fancy sweater. he says it in the most hilarious way. also when he wakes up after he fell in the river:

alvin: who are you?

person: fred

alvin: flintstone?

so many great parts; I love this movie!
---------------------------------------
I loved the part in the bus at the end, when Carvey grabs a hat of a passenger's head, puts in on Jon Lovitz' hat and sits down, while the angry passenger looks at Lovitz, thinking that he took his hat.

Lovitz' smile/face was hilarious
----------------------------------------

when cage tells the other 2 to act like they don't know each other at the bus depo

lovitz: "hey don't I know you? You look familiar!"
------------------------------------
when Cage is in the cars with the mobsters and pulls out a picture of his mother with a shiny happy face; LMFAO
------------------------------------

when they wanna put the money back into the vault:

Cage to Lovitz: "let me do the crackin' and you do the j@ckin'"
Carvey: "leave him alone Bill, prison's a lonely place. Sure, I heard things in the night..."
Lovitz: "SHUT UP!"
------------------------------

"What kind of license plate do you got?"

I like when Jon Lovitz says "Who's lying now" to Dana Carvey while they are getting on the bus. Also when Dana Carvey says "I'm eating scrapple.....it's got scallions".....like the fact that it has scallions will make it o.k. to eat. The last line is "Why don't you put some guns on me".

reply

THOSE WERE GOOD PARTS.I ACTUALLY LIKE THE PART WHEN THE INMATES AND NICOLAS CAGE EXCHANGE PHOTOS OF THEIR MOTHERS,WHEN THEY ALREADY HAD HIS IN THR TRUNK.

When Jon Lovitz sings his song in the bank.

the funniest part was when lovitz told cage it was a setup and he goes

" i told the cops there was a sniper on the roof"

reply

I love the part in the bank when Nic Cage tells Madchen that his brother is mentally retarded.

Alvin (Dana Carvey) getting so excited about the "gibb-let gravy," and then dumping the entire gravy boat on his plate (notice that at one point he's holding it completely upside-down over his plate) - HA!

Also, when the sheriff and the three brothers are introducing themselves after they almost hit Deputy Timmy with their car and knocked him off his horse: the subtle nods of acknowledgement between Timmy and Alvin, like, "Yep, it takes a moron to know a moron!" Funny stuff!

The part I loved the most is when the FBI guys are following the shop-owners car towards the end.

Peyser: (Reading the license plate) License plate number..D-U-H. *turns off radio* That's apporpriate. Vanity plates. *Back on the radio* D-U-H-1-7-1. *mockingly* So, uh, what kind of plates do you have?
