Jeff Daniels goes boom

The one thing that always bothered me about this movie. Wouldn't the first thing the LA bomb squad do is send in a robot to check the house For booby traps. The bad guy is a master bomb maker phsyco and they just enter the house.

@jeffg-91182 Forget that, I'm wondering how the hell you came up with the word "phsyco" - that's pretty creative.

Wow another spelling teacher. Is that your biggest concern in life correcting people's spelling.

In some people's eyes, bad grammar and awful spelling and numerous typos reveal ignorance. Public message boards speak volumes these days. If you read a lot of posts on here, the jerks always seem to be the ones who type the poorest. Plus they usually skip words and type run-on sentences with no capital letters and bad punctuation. Pay attention and you will see I am right.

I usually mention errors in grammar or spelling when someone is being a complete jerk and calling someone else a moron. Other than that, I ignore it.

I usually don't point it out, but since OP (i.e. you, jeffg-91182) decided to respond, I'll toss in my two cents. I'm not a walking talking dictionary either, and there's always something new to learn about grammar… but even still, there's a difference between grammar errors and spelling errors. Grammar errors are sometimes debatable, so I'm usually never annoyed by those. Spelling errors on the other hand…

In this day and age, IMDb offers you spellcheck. Notice the red-line when you wrote "physco"? As a responder to a thread, yeah, nobody should care. But as an OP, it shows an immediate laziness to a thread you started, which in turn is a bit inconsiderate to those who might reply to you.

It doesn't have to be perfect; after all, it's just a message board. But if it's a thread you started, at least polish it a little bit. You're not texting your friends, you're having a conversation with strangers who have a common interest. Show some manners.

I label myself a geek, and you somehow think this is an insult?

"Speed" was of the essence. Haha

In 1994 I am not sure if they had that technology available to them.

It was a dumb and dumber move :-P

I actually feel really sorry for Harry, he knows he's about to die and looks like he's crying just before it happens, sad scene

To go from getting shot by his partner then getting rewarded a hero then dies from being blown up in a house...talk about a lose-lose character.

Worse... To be stuck in a movie with Canoe Reeves...

At least Harry didn't have to go on to _Speed 2, Snooze Control_
Even Canoe stayed off of that boat.

They absolutely would have. Especially a bomb expert like Harry would've expected some sort of booby trap.
