LOL. I love how they insert 1990's Political Correctness into the 1940's. People back then didn't refer to homosexuality as any kind of logical choice. I always crack up at this. Great movie, a bit overrated, but it's tough to escape the ole PC dragon.

Boggs certainly was a homosexual by the way he was written. Others say he wasn't but was instead motivated by the control of rape, but Boggs approached Andy several times and offered to be "a friend" to him. He didn't rape Andy until he realized Andy wasn't going to voluntarily be his friend.

But homosexuality isn't a choice. Gay people are born that way.
