i just caught the last 1/3 of this....hadn't seen it since its release and had forgotten all about it. can anyone explain why when Wade is killed, Terry just puts his hands up and says aw shucks...no more fight, no lashing out at Dad....just...."well damn....it's over now that there are no more bullets..."

It's like Streep killed the video game boss of the level or the vampire king or something. Very strange.

Terry was a moron who couldn't exist without his boyfriend Wade.

He had zero violent tendencies and revealed 1) he didn't want anyone to get hurt and 2) was just following Wade's plans and 3) He was afraid of jail

Terry was a weak little bitch. Just look at the way Wade had treated and talked to him. And Terry just took it.

Plus he had a broken arm. There’s not much chance he could’ve done anything to help his situation.
