If the title says "Chainsaw Massacre", shouldn't someone get massacred.

. . .with a chainsaw?

Not one person gets even touched by a chainsaw in this film! I was dragged in to this film by my friends back when this hit the theaters.

I wondered when a chainsaw would be used against someone.

Should we have waited for the director's cut?

I didn't pay for my ticket, yet I felt ripped off.

Not sure what that was about. Maybe they just wanted to keep the franchise name.

I own the uncut version, and there's no chainsaw deaths. And it's probably the closest to a Director's Cut there is.

I would rather get massacred by a chainsaw than sit through this horrid movie again, does that count?

Nope. No one death by a chainsaw.

But this movie sucked

reply

Agreed.

There was not one chainsaw related death. I think the directors should've just given it a different title and formed an entirely new story. Though, I think associating the TCM with the film was a marketing tactic to get people to watch the movie.
