Prior to Ringo and Honey Bunny leaving.... (Spoilers)

When Jules gives him $1500 and tells him that he is paying him to not kill him, he tells him that it's a pretty good haul for the job. Does Jules tell him to leave the bag with the wallets on the counter before leaving? I thought so but obviously they took it with them.
