What would happen to Vincent if Mia had died?

When Mia overdoses from her Cocaine use and Vincent panics, what would have happened if Jimmy had either not been home to help them out or if he had refused to help and Mia had ended up dying?

Or if they had tried to save her life but she had still died anyway? Would Marcellous Wallace have been understanding or would Vincent have suffered an untimely end?

I would love to see how Jules would have handled Mia overdosing on drugs though, because he was a lot more cool and street smart and did things differently than Vincent did, he might have called The Wolf and gotten help from him.

Also Vincent could have called 911 and reported Mia's drug overdose to them and allowed them to take her and save her life, then she is released and promises not to tell Marcellous about what happened, dont know why Vincent never considered calling 911 at Jimmy's house at all.

No way, it would not be as painful a death as Zed's. Zed went through the worst torture possible.

...you don't think Marcellus would enact the worst possible torture on someone who allowed his wife to die while she was under his watch?

Because I can picture a ruthless crime boss doing that. I don't quite know why...

Losing his trophy wife is no where near as bad in his eyes as him being butt raped while bound and gagged and thinking he will die afterwards if not for Butch.

In that scene she snorted heroin be mistake thinking it was cocaine. No?

By the way ... she overdosed on Vincent's heroin, not cocaine.

Small correction: Mia assumes it's cocaine, but it's the monster heroin

The restitution of life is no great feat. A variety of deaths may well enter into your punishment

I think you mean Lance's house (Lance is the guy with the long red hair) because that's where Vincent takes Mia after she overdoses. Jimmy is played by Quentin Tarantino and the "Jimmy house scene" is near the end of the movie.

And I think Marcellus would've just killed Vincent. A kill for a kill. Especially if it's Marcellus' wife.

This is an old thread, however, I just rewatched the movie & caught something MAJOR

Mia did NOT overdose on Cocaine. She OD’d on heroin that Vince bought earlier that day from Lance. She was wearing Vince’s jacket when they came back to her house from dinner. Mia found a bag of (VERY STRONG) Heroin in Vince’s pocket as she was taking it off, thinking it was cocaine she sniffed a rail & immediately fell out due to her not having a tolerance.
**Also the reason Mia wanted to keep it a secret. She knew how it would look to her husband & what he is capable of**

All the while Vince was in the bathroom, talking to himself in the mirror. Considering how much cocaine she did do that night, is a real world reason she stayed alive as long as she did. Otherwise she would have died in seconds. (think: *Uppers vs. downers)
*Upper= Cocaine
Downer= Heroin
For those not well versed with illegal drugs

Keep in mind, This was WAYYYY before Narcan, and the “good Samaritan law”.

IMO, Vince could not take her to the hospital bc he is a hitman for one, but also before the “good Samaritan law“ they would both be charged & investigated. And Vince would have been charged with contributing to her death if she were to have died.

Also IMO, Vince definitely would have been killed, just on the strength of Marcellus trusting him enough to “take care of his wife for the evening” only to find out that she overdosed, and died on a drug that she doesn’t do. It would look like Vince got her to try it bc no way would Marcellus believe it was an accident, and even if he did- u don’t kill a man’s wife, or allow her to OD/die on your watch & keep your life *especially* when you are a hitman working for a gangster!
