The acting was so terrible that it made me laugh. Lyle Menendez is portrayed as a sleazy loser who has been pampered his whole life, and decides to go postal when he doesn't get what he wants. I think that Eric is gay. They kind of hint at the fact that he is gay, but they never really say it. I'd also like to know why Edward James Olmos has to play every damn latino character in hollywood. For the love of god, I know there are other latino actors who deserve a chance. He did a terrible job and wasn't convincing at all.

I liked Edward's performance as Jose. The complete opposite of Jaime Escalante, which he was Oscar nominated for. Maybe he got the part because he was well known? Nothing wrong with that. Hey, I don't know how the auditions went. Maybe he gave the best one.

Edward James Olmos has never been nominated for an Oscar.

Edward James Olmos became Jose Menendez! He was amazing; the way he portrayed the character really made it seem likely that he could have abused his sons.
