Ocker deserved to die

Ocker annoys me most, not because he didn't want to kill any natives, rather it was obvious that he never intended to do his job from the get go. He gets on the island and immediately starts doing drugs, generally being lazy by lounging around stoned on the beach trying to get laid.

Deebo was much too eager to bully the natives, even kill them, but he tagged Ocker correctly from the outset, and Deebo remembered he was there to do a job he was paid for.
