Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the ending credits song. It's called 'Canaan' but the soundtrack version has some bloke singing it rather than the female in the film.
Can anyone help please? I've been after this song for a long long time! The film version, not the official soundtrack version.

shareI couldn't agree more, it's total *beep* Why do films do this on their soundtracks? The source was tomandandy.com which is the *beep* version on the soundtrack.
But who is the woman who sings in the film. Their MUST be a recording of it somewhere.

shareI got fed up with trying to find this version through all of the normal means and was gonna probably just record this myself off the dvd but I can never get it sounding quite as good as I'd like and then I came back here for one more shot at seeing if there was any luck and surely enough my long search is over thanks to one of my new favorite people. I just can't believe the megaupload link was still good since I noticed this was posted back in July. My hat's off to you Sitiyzal. Much appreciated. Now if only I can find those last few songs from other flicks :)

shareI just picked up the soundtrack on vinyl and to my horror, you are correct. One of the best tracks from the film is replaced here with a horrendous version with a male voice. I wonder why this type of thing happens so often on soundtracks?
