Didn't it look consensual?

I don't think he resisted as much as he claimed he did.

his saskatchewan hair looked to be confused also.

"Rue the day?" Who talks like that?

reply

There was a moment there where he clearly decided that he was going to bang her.

If the hot girl you're dating is allowed to strip down to her bra & panties, and then suddenly say, "No this is wrong. Let's stop" (or else you could get charged with date rape).....

.....I see no reason why a guy can't do the same thing.

-how would you define the word 'no'.
-i stop when a girl hints at a sound of pain... and ask if she is ok.
-i feel that he got locked into some past memories of an old sex life that no longer exists. when he saw his imige in the mirrior he knew that. he played a victum at first, but then he came to his senses.

-as a male: if a girl says no once. you stop. then ask 'what's wrong?'

reply

It was up until the point where he decided he didn't want to continue. As stated earlier, if a woman can do that, then you can't say a man is obligated to continue just because she wants it.

Meredith then says finish what you started or I'll say you harrassed me? BS

To then backtrack when evidence is shown, and say "well this just shows consentual sexual relations," is ludicrous, when just a few minutes before her people were arguing that she was rape. If you now acknowledge it was consentual, then your accusation of harassment is without merit.

Yeah, good luck walking up to a woman and unzipping her pants while she's telling you no.

If you can read this then you are trying too hard.

reply

I think saying no well over several times is an indicator that it wasn't consensual. How is that not enough? He shouldn't have to beat her off for her to stop. When he said no she should have stopped. Period.

reply

Okay, I think I figured out just now that this is the problem with the movie. Not the way they showed the event, but that they showed it at all.

Much of the film is practically a trial. So, effectively a mystery. If we didn't see the office events, then they were revealed via testimony and the tape and so on, that might have worked. Seeing it took all the life out of the movie but revealing it, or then wondering if what we think we know was real (since it was all about lies and duplicity and conspiracies) would have helped it be a drama.

They could keep the sex scenes for use in trailers to deceive us as they can have 2 second flashbacks here and there.

He said no several times. Why are women these days given such God status? If a woman says no the next DAY she's entitled to some bullcrap lawsuit.

Meredith was COMPLETELY in the wrong and COMPLETELY sexually ASSAULTING the man. She should've been arrested, thrown in jail, and F'd by a strap on by some random chick.

But nope... instead she probably gets off scott free... Probably a 'leave' from her job and no slap on the wrist, despite trying to ruin someone's life.

reply

Does any man? Hahaha
the point was he changed his mind which she should have accepted.
Instead she sued him for sexual harassment which is a lie

reply

True.

It was basically raped.

reply

Completely agree he literally fingered her
