First one, bunch of misfit kids are trained to win a championship...okay, I'll accept that.

Second one, same team, with teenage girls mixed in, somehow now represent America? Meaning they're either the best team in America or individually each player was so good that players from other teams wouldn't make the national team?

Absurd!

They got the Team USA position because Jan pitched them to Tibbles. I agree it’s absurd but it’s not like Tibbles was like “hey that team the Ducks won 4 games, let’s sign them”
