Not every movie can be the huge overblown action spectacle. This would be in another decade a really fun b movie. Nothing at all wrong with that. Its a fun mix of the buddy movie, action and comedy. And its a refreshing change for Sutherland who before mostly played evil bad guys. This is a great double feature with.. say Flashback, also with Sutherland in a comedic lead role opposite Dennis Hopper. Funny as you can see that film as a lampoon of the serious action of Jack Bauer and 24.

A film doesn't have to be great.. just a fun ride. The Cowboy Way is a ride I am always ready to jump on. Even if its silly at times. Or corny. Sutherland and Harrelson are always fun to watch.

K cool a recent post. Maybe a few months old but still. Yea i agree. Its the first time i've seen this n i liked it. I've actually heard of it before but just nvr gotten around to checkin it out yet. Dunno if you rated it or not but imma give it bout 7 or 8 stars. I'd add it to my collection tho (which isn't very big at all). I could say this falls or should be inducted into the "cult classic" category maybe imo
