Food stands in Hong-Kong

Did anyone else think that it was awesome how a food stand could offer different kinds of food? If I recall correctly, they had pretty much everything from pizza to fish! Are there many food stands like this one in Hong-Kong or around the world? I'm sure they require a lot of skill, given that they have to know how to make different kinds of food!

It´s Hong Kong, not China.

in fact, it is China. The brits gave Hong Kong back in 1997

The movie was made and set before that so it is hk.

His question is not related to time. So, if oyu want to answer his question correctly, it would be: "Yes, my friend, there are... in China." .. and not HK, cause -again- right now HK belongs to China.

Food stands are pretty popular all over Asia, since they offer a wide variety of foods for a low price. It's basically the Asian version of fast food, but of course, much tastier and heathier. We should learn a thing or two from them.

Yeah, we can see how healthy it is with coronavirus and all other diseases originating over there and their super healthy food.

Food stands are a huge deal in Hong Kong. There are entire streets dedicated to food stands.

Not just that. You can sit at the food stall (say where you feel comfortable as you are a regular) and order food from another stall. Not only in hk as you can find it in morocco, taiwan, south east asia, spain, the middle east and many other. Modren day business practice has phased it out - in the name of progress (or is it backwards). You can have discount, credit, any size of dish or many variations how you want the dish done - speaking of ultimate customer experience, these people didn't get a harvard degree or been to int'l culinary center. I missed them but it's now rare in hk.

I regret not having tried them when I was in HK.

I wondered how much of that was the translation. Does this place really serve Chef's Salad wrapped in foil in the shape of a burrito? Everything seemed to come in that same shape! I assumed that salad, pizza & hot dogs were americanizations for the subtitles and not a direct translation.
