Can someone explain Rogers death?

Ok so this has bugged me for 20 years! And now it's on tv and it's bugging me again.......

The neighbour said she heard roger scream, and the owner said you have to open the balcony door when y enter the apartment. So how was ace so sure she heard Roger scream inside the apartment and then the murderer threw him off the balcony and closed the door on the way out.....if you had to open the door on the way in, it's fully plausible that the neighbour heard Roger scream on the way down.

Can someone explain it for this complete thicko for 20 years????!!!!!

Stick with me here, as I paint the story for you:

-Roger and Einhorn came back to the apartment together that night. The balcony door was closed when they first walk in

-Einhorn is seducing Roger, possibly to see if he knows anything about his/her true idenity. They begin making out, Roger probably feels Einhorn's penis while making out, and realizes something fishy is going on, at the very least. Since Roger is a Miami Dolphin front office guy and familiar with the history, he probably even deduces that Einhorn is Ray Finkle in drag, and responsible for Snowflakes kidnapping

-Einhorn panics, or at the very least, wants to keep his/her identity secret. A struggle ensures. Keep in mind, that the balcony door has been closed the entire time. Einhorn kills Roger, and Roger lets out a scream before he is murdered by Einhorn. The murder takes place in the living room, or the kitchen, but definitely NOT on the balcony. Roger's scream was very loud, and could be heard by the neighbor.

-Einhorn, being a police LT., thinks he/she knows how to cover up a murder. He/she drags his dead body out to the balcony to make it look like a suicide. However, Einhorn made two mistakes, that Ace cleverly points out (you can see Einhorn's face of shame when he does, even though all the other cops are laughing him off after finding their mistakes in that scene). The two mistakes were: closing the balcony door AFTER dumping Roger's body over the balcony, and not cleaning out the blood stains that Ace found over the balcony as a result of Roger's body being dumped. Ace points out that it is impossible to hear someone scream through the balcony if the door is closed, yet Roger's scream was indeed heard by the neighbor, who confirmed that the door was closed when she came inside the apartment.

-The little dog even recognizes Einhorn when he/she comes to the scene of the crime after the police are called as her master's killer. Ace jokingly says "So dogs CAN sense evil."

And here is some info on Roger, and why Einhorn was seducing him and using him from the start in order to gain access to Dolphins stadium.

So... animals CAN sense evil.

LOL.

If you want a simple answer to your question, instead of the full paragraph I gave, then it is this...dead men can't close an already opened door, and the door was closed when the landlord came inside. :-)

But Ace explains it quite clearly in the scene didn't you listen to his explanation and the realization on Einhorn face that his clearly right and the scream came from inside the apartment and the murderer (Einhorn) then pushed Roger over the balcony and then closed the door after not before?
