Look at the overall rating of touched by an angel. It is clear, simply
by its Nilson numbers that Touched by an Angel was reasonably
successful (over 9 years...lol)

To listen to all you posters, one would think that there are only two beliefs in America: Christianity and atheism.
There are not.
I am Jewish and as much of a believer in God as any Christian.
One thing I love about TBAA is that it does NOT pontificate or force Christianity down viewer' throats.
In fact in several episodes (one guest-starring the great Kirk Douglas), the angels step in to help Jewish people, and without trying to convert them.
So far this board has no "ranting atheist" threads, the negative votes make up a tiny minority of people who state nothing about atheism (which is to be expected when this show gets few votes in general)and the only ranting that has been going on is from deluded, ignorant Christians who created and posted in this thread.
Luckily many Christians aren't complete nutjobs or *beep* like those in here. An example being the creators and writers of Touched by an Angel. Who managed to consistantly produce episodes where there was no in-your-face preaching or "oh, atheists aren't too bad, they are just ignorant children who haven't felt Gods blah blah blah. And if they did they would know he exists like we do a durp".
As you pointed out, they dealt with other faiths as well and didn't try and convert them in the show. Many times pointing out that they shouldn't be preached to.
Irony considering the OP and the various other ranting Christians in this thread are the ONLY ones being pathetic so far, haha.
atheists arent pathetic. if anything they are the ones who have almost right. i come from jewish & catholic backgrounds; apparently have vamprism & witchcraft in our ancestry & i have both an atheist friend & a muslim friend. we at least learn to get along.
an atheist can enjoy this show just as much as i, a witchy sunweakened jewish catholic can, simply cuz...its a good show. has good mesages about freindship & whatnot (god or not, atheists can still learn about manners) also, someone may watch the show simply cuz they think andrew(monica/et al) is hot. hell i landed on the floor when i found out that sylar showed up in one random episode when he was real young!!! i pretty much want to watch this show right through over again just to see that one episode!
also, atheism is kind of like a religion to...just so you know. they just dont have to pray to some sort of god or whatever.

Atheists have converted to Christianity in adulthood. Pretty dumb of you to assume all Christians were Christians since they were little.

Christians looking down on any other religion, or people that are anti-religion is not very Christ-like. I know, "No man come to The Father, but by Me." Does this mean that Jesus had this ego that gave his followers the right to belittle others.... I don't think so.
I choose to be Christian. I don't pretend that there is evidence, or that God talks to me. I just choose to have faith.
I have personal reasons/feelings of course, but I can't blame anyone for being an atheist. There is no proof.
I think it's really nice that Christians/Spiritual people had their own show. Lets just be thankful for that and let those that disagree, disagree.
I remember the days when the show wasn't "Godly enough" or "There's no mention of Jesus."
