10/10 Fantastic TV Show

Loved this show as a kid and I've just finished watching my DVD collection. I never realized how well this show was written and directed. So many lovable characters. I really enjoyed every episode. They ended the series on a high note. A fantastic show from start to finish and I was continually kept on the edge of my seat with suspense, which no other shows have done, not even Star Trek, and I'm a huge fan of Star Trek.

I just could not make up my mind which character I liked most. The best thing was, the racial message this show portrayed. All races living and working together with equal respect for each other. What better message for kids to grow up with! If I had only one complaint it would be, not enough episodes! This show deserves to come back, even if the whole thing were computer animated like 'Reboot' I would still love it.

I think the show suffered from it's timeslot. At first glance it looks like a kids show. They even released a toy figure collection, but there were clearly episodes towards the end which were of an adult nature e.g. drugs, prostitutes, murders, etc. I think the show appeals mostly to teenagers and all ages upwards. There were plenty of emotional and romantic scenes which kids would not understand, but you get that in every film these days e.g. Indiana Jones - clearly made for kids to enjoy, but there was plenty of violence and romance as well.

Overall I think Space Precinct has something to share which all ages can enjoy.
