IMO, Ross didn't deserve her. She was probably the most patient of his girlfriends. The whole Rachel, Ross, Mona thing was awkward lol

I think Ross put it best himself...

I didn’t tell her that I got Rachel pregnant. I gave her a key to my apartment and then I got my locks changed. And then I lied to her about Rachel moving in with me.

In a way, I actually judge her for not breaking up with me sooner.

She was super hot though.

Agreed. For me that was a classic line.

I did not like what the writers did with the Mona character. She started off as this not but normal chick who actually tolerated Ross's closeness with the 5 friends, which also included his ex-girlfriend cum ex-wife cum father to Emma, but then ended with this clingy chick culminating in that xmas card part.

I loved how Ross reacted when Phoebe listed Mona amongst the gang's collective dating record, or the who's who of human crap.

"What was wrong with Mona??"

Mona was very nice but the holiday card thing WAS too much.

I don't really know why people loved her that much. She wasn't bad, she was just sort of okay, imo.

Mona was quite cool, actually. Very pretty, patient with Rachel's pregnancy and Ross' absent-mindedness. I feel if Leonard Green (nutjob that he was - explains early Rachel) hadn't burst and ranted, she might have been OK with Ross being Emma's father if he'd told her himself. In fact, I feel that Mona would've perfect for Ross from an early point in the series, had he not obsessed over Rachel for donkey's years. It's just by the time she came into his life, he'd turned into a giant prat and totally undeserving of a star like that.
