pandering hurt this show

this show had some truly incredible episodes and moments. it elevates it above a lot of other shows. ross saving the kid from the flood, mark's character development, mark's relationship with his father, carter's journey, carter's friendship with benton, benton's struggle to be recognized. it was good when elizabeth corday hooked up with benton. corday was so sweet and nice to benton and was almost a pure and innocent character. but then it was like they were afraid of upsetting white guys so they split them up in a ridiculous way. then they gave benton this blaise almost white black woman because apparently dark black women weren't palatable. then they gave the most annoying main character in the show, carol hathaway, her own hispanic guy who was a handsome doctor but he somehow wants to hook up with a single mother. lol. come on. lastly, it's like all these characters have separate stories that never intersect. like if i completely cut hathaway's story and benton's story in season 6, none of it matters. it's basically what i've been doing anyway. benton was one of the best characters in the show and they sideline him for some reason. now his story is completely irrelevant.

ps: oh yea i completely forgot jeanie. actually, she definitely was the most annoying character in the show. have aids and works at a hospital. she also had another hot black doctor pursue her. imagine a woman with aids and gets a doctor. what? i think i skipped all her scenes like beginning 2 seasons before she left. all her scenes were irrelevant.

I think you're a bit preoccupied with everyone's race and colour.

Btw Luka Kovac is Croatian (Slavic), not Hispanic.

I liked the actress who played Susan.
