What doctor could you not stand on the show?

Mine would be:
Maggie Doyle
Dr Anspaugh
Romano
and at times Dr Benton

Romano

I liked Maggie Doyle, Dr. Anspaugh wasn't that bad and Dr. Benton had his good side on occasion even though he mostly showed the tough, narcissistic side to the other doctors and nurses.

But Rocket Romano was rarely anything but a complete a$$hole. What happened to him with the helicopter (twice) was pure kharma.

A good character doesn't automatically mean likable person. Some of the best characters ever on TV and movies are pure evil and not likeable in any way.

While I agree Romano was a good character, he was not a likeable one. He was the villain of the show.

After all the subject of this thread was "Most disliked doctor" not "worst character".

I loved what Sam said about him: "That's one poisonous one-armed midget you got running this place!" Haha.

And when Dr. Weaver named the LGBT wing after the homophobic Dr. Romano, and Carter called it 'post mortem payback', that Was precious... and when doctors kept suggesting another doctor to eulogize Romano at his memorial, trying to pass the buck and not have to wax poetic about the poisonous one-armed midget boss nobody liked! Funny and honest, for a change!

cleo was a pretty rubbish character. For me the complete opposit of doug ross in the same role. and it didn't sit well.

Benton was very cold and unemotional.

hated carrie weaver with a passion.

Benton changed when his son was born. He got more likeable and human.

romano probably wins for everyone. benton was always kind of a dick. weaver started off bad but ended up better

Cleo was an ice queen. I was very glad to see her go.

Controversial, but I hated Abby. She was an endless void of depression and angst and IMO the biggest problem with the show's final years. (is it a coincidence season 15 was so good?)

I could never hate Romano. Paul McCrane was brilliant in that role.

Yeah I only like Abby because she was quite cute, but I found her character all around disappointing and depressing.

I couldn't stand Abby. They ruined Luka and Carter by forcing her character on them.

Romano does not win for everyone! I loved his character! My most hated was Benton because he was a drama queen and also was rude to Elizabeth who I love. I have a love/hate relationship with many other doctors such as Pratt, Luka, and Carrie. But Benson is the only one who came in screen and I rolled my eyes.

Oh no, no, no. I can't stand seeing Luka in a hate thread. Then again, I am a HUGE Goran Visjnic fan. I adore him.

Weaver. She made a mistake and others payed for that (Chen and Malucci, season 8). She would sell her own mother to save her career.

Cleo. She was too cold, inexpressive.
