leonardo dicaprio's best performance

i really do believe this is leonardo dicaprio's best performance who agrees

reply

I agree. That was great acting from Leonardo DiCaprio. My brother and I were blown away by his performance. We really believed he was mentally challenged and we can't believe it was Leonardo DiCaprio.

I very much agree that this is Leo's best performance... VERY realistic. Sad to say, I'm not crazy about a lot of his other performances, but this one was definitely an exception!

Yeah. He was great in it. It's too bad the oscar went to Tommy Lee Jones instead of Leo.

I agree. I think it is one of the best performances by any actor ever. He was extremely realistic. I can't believe how well he acted this role. I also can't believe he didn't win the oscar. That pisses me off.

He was truly amazing, yes absolutely agree. His performance made Tom Hanks's Forest Gump looked amateurish.

Forrest Gump asking if his son is smart = Arnie finding his mama at the end.
Both amazing performances.

The real joke is Tommy Lee Jones performance.

This was the first movie of Leo I saw. I was a sophomore in high school and I thought, OMG, is that kid really mentally handicapped or just a REALLY good actor? And if he was truly mentally handicapped, is it wrong of me to think he's really cute and crushable? He was just so darn charismatic even as Arnie! Gaaah. I had to ask around if he was just an actor. This was pre-Titanic fame so the only ones who knew Leo were the ones who'd seen him in Growing Pains.

I followed his career after seeing this performance. EVen watched "Total Eclipse" in the cinemas with my girlfriends and all the while giggling like infatuated idiots everytime he appeared...we annoyed the "serious" viewers. hehe. Then Titanic happened and Leo-mania exploded. We went crazier for him. But I always knew he was an amazing talent...even if he made us girls want to have his babies. haha

He's so convincing that I actually forget that it's Leonardo playing a character, every time I watch it.
Best performance for sure!

if you think leo's performance is good you should check out toby kebbell's performance in dead mans shoes, absolutly brillant, probably the best performance of a mentally impared person i have ever seen, better than hoffman in rainman
