This movie scared me

I'm 17 now in 2005, so I was 5 when this movie came out, I saw it on vhs and it scared the crap out of me, I still wont watch this movie. Its the guy with the screw eye, and the crows at the end, that frightened me the most. Plus the movie didnt make much since, brain grain, sry I was five and I thought it was stupid. But, not to stupid to scare me.

Almost all really good animated kids' movies are like this. Snow White, The Prince of Egypt (which isn't exactly a kids movie even though it kinda is), Watership Down (OK, I haven't seen this yet, but that's from what I've heard), and most Don Bluth films. That's part of the beauty though- they're not just some generic fluffy film where nothing horribly wrong or realistic can and will happen. The creators put so much effort into these to tell great stories.

I didn't mind most of them. Kids today are just so horribly sheltered, which is ironic considering what they know and are exposed to with a big thanks to school, MTV, the Internet, etc.

It didn't frighten me as a kid, but having recently seen that moment, it is remarkabley creepy, I love it.

Some scenes were indeed pretty dark and scary for a kid.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
