This movie scared me

I'm 17 now in 2005, so I was 5 when this movie came out, I saw it on vhs and it scared the crap out of me, I still wont watch this movie. Its the guy with the screw eye, and the crows at the end, that frightened me the most. Plus the movie didnt make much since, brain grain, sry I was five and I thought it was stupid. But, not to stupid to scare me.

Well, heck, look at me. I LOVE The Great Mouse Detective, but when I was about 6 or 7, the movie started to freak the living daylights out of me!

Quite frankly, I can't even believe I got the courage to watch it again last year!

yeah this movie used to creep me the *beep* out when the dinosaurs were all "real" instead of friendly, along with the screw eye, creepy as hell. still love this movie to pieces though

Never scared me, oddly enough.

I can relate to you on that; I couldn't stop freaking out every time that part came on! That was the scariest scene with him in the whole movie!

Nowadays, however, I'm not afraid of that scene anymore. In fact, during the Big Ben scene, Ratigan sends gleeful chills up & down my very spine!

I'll never forget the crows landing on the weird man at the end. That was one of the most memorable images of my childhood. :P

Im 14 and i own the movie. This movie used to scare me a bit but i loved it. Now I think about it and think that was a kinda scary movie!

I'm 14, and I haven't seen this in the longest time... there were a bunch of movies my family used to rent on a regular basis when I was little, all of which I haven't seen since I was 6 or 7.

The Great Mouse Detective, We're Back, Ferngully, and this one with a bunch of little animals that go to look for a cure for some disease one of their friends has or summat... I'm gonna write all these down to try to find 'em.

And if anyone could tell me the name of that one movie... I remember there was like a badger, and a hedgehog/porcupine, and there were three little animal friend things... lol, it's just really bugging me that I can't find what it is. It's 2:30 in the morning and I'm searching IMDb for all possible titles, am I obsessive or what? Pfft...

Buuut... I digress, a lot. I don't remember most of this movie, but I remember the part where Screweyes makes them more like real dinosaurs reeeally scared me. Like, a whole bunch.

Lol, I also remember, for some reason, some part where Louie's being threatened with a knuckle sandwich... hmm, I have no idea why.

The movie you can't remember is called Once Upon A Forest. Your welcome..

Thanks so much, I never did find the title, so thanks :) I haven't checked back on this board 'til now, so if you come back here, know that you've been a great help, lol

I was 10 when the movie came out. And, I must admit, I was so scared, I peed my pants in the theatre. (at my best friends birthday party, no doubt) Haven't watched it since...

Yeah I remember the scene at the beginning of The Great Mouse Detective where the bat pops out and takes the father used to scare me when I was maybe four? Strangely enough though, I could watch things like "Jurassic Park" and Tim Burton's verson of Batman with no problem.

I don't think this movie scared me. It was a bit freaky with the carnival at the end.

This was most definitely my favorite movie growing up!! :)

I remember watching this movie with my family. Those are some great memories. Sure this movie is pretty dumb, but I will always remember it as a great family movie. I, too, got a little scared of the screweye guy. lol.
