Weird and awkward.

Eeekkk....this movie was like watching a train wreck waiting for the next weird line or sudden dance move! I know it has historical significance and that this type of music was banned in Nazi Germany, but the hokey way these kids acted, it was cringe worthy! Singing in the streets, yelling, "SWING HEIL!", saying, "I'M A COWBOY AND YOU'RE A PANSY!" AACCK! Make it stop! It gave me that same feeling that comes up when you have that one weird person in every group that is loud, and hangs off everyone, asks personal questions, shares too much, will just start acting things out, doesn't know when to stop, without any sort of filter or sense of personal space. Or, when you are at karaoke and someone REALLY terrible is singing, but they think they sound amazing and keep getting louder, and using more vocal fluctuations, while pointing and adding moves to the lyrics! You just want to usher them to a corner, and hope they simmer down, or just go away. You feel embarrassed for them, and almost as if you need to apologize for them. That is how I felt with these "swing kids." I felt embarrassed for their actions. It was very awkward and uneasy.
