Was I the only one who LIKED this movie?

Granted, it is campy at it's best, and I did watch the MST3k version, but as a film, I actually enjoyed it. No oscar nomination at all, but the plot was the worst. Just a fun, somewhat *beep* 90's movie. ): I dare say, I'm a fan of the movie!

I liked it!!! But then, I am familiar with some of the location and booths where it was filmed, and I recognize some of the people in it. I even know one or two of the people.

Much of it was filmed on the location of THE Renaissance Pleasure Faire at Black Point Forest in Marin California. (Often referred to as "Northern Faire". )

I actually have quite a fondness for it! (NOT the MST3K version. )

Yeah so it's not a great brainy film. It's a fun silly campy movie.

And you know, if you don't like it, then *don't watch it*!

I thought it was on the same level as "Time Chasers" and "Giant Gila Monster", e.g. it obviously didn't have a great budget, but at least it was made with good intentions. A lot of the films featured on MST3K were pumped out by people who didn't care a fig about the end result, whereas "Delta Knights" doesn't leave a bad taste in my mouth. And it has David Warner, who is always good to watch. And the cinematography was solid. It reminded me of "Alien from LA" in that respect; there was a certain amount of visual invention, i.e. they had a fog machine.

Also, the music - although overdone, and clearly performed on synthesisers - was at least elaborate, and the composer put a bit of effort into his work.

Its good cheese, although without MST3K I don't think I'd want to touch it. "I'm cooommmiiinnnggg!!!!"

It doesn't deserve to be rated as low as it is, but any movie that got MSTed will automatically be skewed a little lower - after all, the movie's flaws are all pointed out.

It's ok. To me it looks like it started with good intentions and got messed up through personality conflicts with writers/producers/directors.

I gave it a 3 because Brigid Connelly Walsh is a goddess in it. She is the ONLY reason to watch this movie IMO, it is brutal.

Hello all of the people who saw this movie. Thank you for going. I worked with James Dodson when he was doing Deadlock an earlier film. Just starting out and worked as an assistant editor. He was noted for bringing in a movie under budget and that is quite a claim in Hollywood. He and James Hong were talking about creating a production company at one point but I went on to other areas in my life and now that it is 20 + years since then, I wish even if the movies he makes are less than perfect HE MAKES MOVIES! Congratulations to James and I wish I had stayed a part of his company instead of wandering off and not working on movies which and has only been my dream forever. Oh, well. I have great management skills for my career. I'm now going back to the 16 hour days and trying to do a better stay with what really love to do. Work on films....
