A Kids' Film?

I think it's been going on for years: there's many of us who, as children, were brought up on this movie. Then there's others who believe this movie shouldn't be shown to children at all; that's it immoral and shouldn't be viewed until their teenagers and far less impressionable.
Me, I first saw this movie when it was first released on VHS (I still have my copy). I was three. It's been my favorite movie ever since. I think it's a fine movie for kids. It's not scary; all the creepy images are more humorous than anything. And none of the characters (sans Oogie Boogie) are really mean or have ill-intent. They mean well, they're just misguided.
So what does everything here think? Would you let your kids watch this movie or not? Why?

My 4 and 7 year old LOVE this movie. My 4 year old has watched in for days in a row. So, Id say it depends on the kid. The first time they watched it I was worried they might get freaked out, but they think the characters are silly, not scary.

Why would it be immoral? Is it because of that devil?

No one in their right mind would ride on a buggy driven by Klaus Kinski.

It's an all-around amazing family movie. That's all I have to say.

The part when oogie turns into bugs used to make me kinda uncomfortable when I was young. My kids like it though.

It does feature nightmarish images but it is so paced to not hold onto anything that might frighten kids at any real length. It is lively and whimsical, too.
