Samuel L Jackson before Pulp fiction

It's crazy he used to play second banana to Emilio Estevez of all, in a movie like this.
I remember just a few years after this he was in the "actor with most blockbusters" top list.

I wish he did more in this movie, he was almost the straight man here, I'm sure he could have been funnier.
BTW I like this film, it's as funny as a naked gun, I just don't consider it top work for somebody his caliber.
