This was Halloween: Ends before Halloween: Ends

I was only 12 when this movie came out and I don't really recall hearing anything about it during its release. Obviously, the internet wasn't mainstream like it is now. But having seen it quite a few times throughout the course of the last nearly 30 years, I assume this got a lot of the same backlash as the the current Halloween movie. Jason was in this a total of about 6 minutes tops, it seems. All the imposter bodies that his spirit, or whatever you want to call it, jumps in and out of is basically the equivalent of all the focus Corey is given in Halloween. The main stars of each movie that we came to watch are barely there. Both were terrible ways to end such loved and well known movie series.

Indeed. JGTH is better though at least it has a few things going for it;
- Some nudity.
- Awesome ending with Freddy Kruegers glove coming out of the ground.
- One or two good kill scenes. The tent kill in particular was very good.
- Jason is decent in it whenever he's actually on screen.
- It's silly and kind of fun at times. An okay watch once every 5-to-10 years on a drunken night.
