Question about Billy scenes

I finally got sick of seeing the ABC Family version with too many cuts that I got the DVD. My question is, I noticed in another thread people talking like they showed more of a backstory on Billy and Sarah, but I just watched the DVD and Binx brielfy explains it in the cemetary as a cat but I am wondering if there's cuts out there that show Billy as a real person in the 17th centuary? . I remember the disney channel version in the late 90s and early 2000s used to seem to show everything, so wondering if that had even more scenes than the DVD?

As far as I know, the standard cut we see on regular TV has all the Billy scenes that were in the theatrical release. I don't recall ever seeing Billy as anything except a walking corpse.

On a side note, why does the cursed Binx get to join Emily in heaven, yet Billy has to go back to the cemetery and continue his dirt nap? His curse should have also ended when the witches died.

reply

I don't think Billy was actually cursed. He died, became re-animated as a result of Winnie's spell, and at the end of the movie presumably went back into the grave and died again.

reply

Yeah, but Emily was also killed by the witches and she went to heaven where she waited for her brother to join her, so an afterlife is canon to this film. Binx was released from the curse and goes to heaven with Emily after the witches were destroyed.

Billy gets to go back to be a maggot motel.

JUST HIS CORPSE...ONCE HIS REMAINS WERE BACK AT REST THE SPELL WAS FULLY OVER AND HE RETURNED TO HIS AFTERLIFE.DERR.

That's just speculation though. Anything not shown is just a guess.

When Binx died from the fall off the broom, he was shown as a human again walking through heaven's gate. Billy yawns and falls over into his grave. That's all we see.
