Ted Raimi

I knew that Sam Raimi was one of the producers for this movie but Ted Raimi's bit part came as a complete suprise to me (I should have known...). As soon as he came on screen I burst out laughing! Whenever I see him I automatically think of him flying around in that rubber suit from Evil Dead.

Yeah! And I could swear that that was Raimi's Oldsmobile Delta 88 that Randall was about to leave town in.

I can't take him seriously either, because I just think of him from his role in Darkman. When he did his cameo is the super-serious film, Candyman, it's the one time I smile during that film, because he's this wimpy Jewish guy and he's playing this badass biker and it's just hilarious.

I think the Raimi's, aside from being involved with this film, have also worked with Chuck Pfarrer, who wrote the movie. I'd expect them in a Coen brothers film, but this was a surprise.

Speaking of Candyman, Kasi Lemmons was in that as well as Hard Target.
